Dr. Vranjes has been interested in fragrances since he was a child, influenced by his grandfather. His grandfather was a silk merchant who traveled around the world, and he would buy and collect various fragrances on his travels. The time he spent with his grandfather in a room filled with his precious collection sparked Dr. Vranjes' passion for fragrance. After furthering his research as a pharmacist, he began extracting the essences that are the source of fragrance in Florence, the land of fragrance, where the history of perfume was made. This was the starting point of his brand, DR.VRANJES. Fragrance products are made using carefully extracted natural essences, and all processes are handmade, embodying the philosophy of Dr. Vranjes, who loves a life filled with fragrance.

BRAND HISTORY

"Antica Officina del Farmacista" was born in Florence in 1983, thanks to the passion of Paolo Vranjes, a pharmacist and cosmetologist. Together with his assistants, he created products with constant research and innovative techniques. Paolo Vranjes was born and raised in Bologna, where he obtained his degree, and after that he decided to spend the rest of his life in Florence, the historical city of fragrance. Paolo Vranjes' story is also the story of his "sense of smell". From an early age, he was able to distinguish the complex scents of perfumes. The scents had a great impact on his delicate sense of smell, and later, as he grew older, his excellent sense led him to become a perfumer.
